Subject: Upcoming Deadline 1 JUNE 2017: Call for NGOs to apply for Consultative Status with the UN

Dear NGO Representative,

This is a gentle reminder of our request we sent on 19 April 2017 for your assistance to spread the news of Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) consultative status for NGOs that do not have ECOSOC status.

We are currently three weeks away from the 1 June 2017 deadline for NGOs to apply for ECOSOC consultative status in order to be considered by the 2018 NGO Committee. NGOs interested in applying for ECOSOC consultative status should submit their application and required documents on or before 1 June 2017.

Being one of the most influential organizations in global civil society with a website constantly visited by a wide array of organizations, we would like to kindly request you to post the following announcement on your website or blog encouraging NGOs to apply for ECOSOC consultative status before 1 June 2017.
